New Bookkeeper - As of early 2025, we have hired a new bookkeeper. See Dues Payment Methods, introduction letter, for more information.
Dues Payment Methods - Here are three ways to pay your dues:
1) Your bank's bill pay where you PUSH your dues payment FROM your bank TO Oak Creek's bank, Heritage Bank. Although bill pay is simple and familiar, you must remember to adjust the amount when dues change which, in our case, is in January (in years when dues increase, which is not every year).
2) Paper check, with the same caveat about having to adjust your January payment in some years.
3) Our bookkeeper's N.A. Shade's, web portal, View this introduction letter for instructions about how to create an account, select a payment method, then choose whether to make a single payment for a $2.99 fee (not advisable) or a recurring payments with no fee (better option). One of the advantages of setting up an account on N.A. Shade's web portal is that you can see your payment history, but the same is true when using bill pay, i.e., using a SEARCH feature on your bank's website.
Note that paying dues via an account you may have set up in the past at Heritage Bank IS NO LONGER AN OPTION. Again, for all three payment methods, you must remember to adjust your payment amount when dues change which, in our case, is in January (but not every year).

A diagram showing 1) a unit water shutoff valve at an Oak Creek unit -- there are likely variances among units, but the diagram will give you an idea of what to look for and how to operate it -- as well as pictures of 2) how to turn OFF the gas to your water heater and 3) how to turn OFF the gas at a gas meter. Only do #3 in case of an emergency because if you turn your gas OFF, PGE will have to turn it back ON.
